The 2016 Slovak Academic Bouldering Final will take place on September 20, 2016. In April of this year, 3 qualifying rounds were held in Bratislava, Žilina and Prešov, from which the 30 best competitors advanced to the final. This time, 4 qualifying and 5 final boulders will be climbed in the On-Sight style.
Conditions of participation
The competition can be attended by 30 invited participants (the top 10 from the regional rounds in Žilina, Prešov, Bratislava) + students outside the overall ranking who will provide proof of their identity with the following documents: International Student Identity Card (ISIC) or index, diploma of completion of studies, and for high school students, confirmation from the relevant school of attendance at the graduation year.
Starting conditions
The competition is open to students (full-time and part-time) of all three forms of study (bachelor's, master's, doctoral), university graduates - one year after graduating from university in 2014/2015, age up to 28 years, students of the 2015/2016 school leaving exam. Foreign students studying at universities in the Slovak Republic and Slovak university students studying abroad can also participate. Athletes of all performance categories are allowed to participate. Competitors are not insured by the organizer and start at their own risk, and must have an insurance card with them.
