Results of the MSR for children and youth – FINALS
We cordially invite you to the Slovak Children and Youth Climbing Championship.
Each competitor will climb 3 qualification routes with a rope (difficulty). The final route will decide the champion of Slovakia 2013.
As a bonus (optional), climbers can also compete in bouldering and speed climbing. There will be 4 boulders prepared and a prize can be won for each boulder climbed. In speed climbing, we will evaluate and reward the first three competitors in each category.

Categories
- B: 13-15 years (1998-2000)
- A: up to 12 years (2001 and younger)
- Within category A, the category will also be evaluated
- "A10" up to 10 years (2003-2013)
Starting fee
- €3 for members of SHS JAMES and for members of foreign mountaineering organizations with a valid membership card
- €6 for non-members of the association
Program
- 8:00 Registration category B, A, A10
- 9:00 End of registration category B, A, A10
- 9:30 Joint warm-up
- 10:00 Start of climbing with a rope at the same time for groups B and A + A10
- During the race, competitors can try bonus boulders and a speed route
- 16:30 Finals of categories B, A
- 18:00 Announcement of category results: B, A, A10.
Rules for competitors
Rope Climbing (Championships) ::: Category A (TOP ROPE, FLASH), Category B (FLASH):
Children will be divided into 3 groups, each climbing their own route, then the routes will be switched. The time limit for the route is 5 minutes. The order will be decided by the sum of the points for all routes together. The designated holds will be visibly scored, the points will be added up. A maximum of 30 points can be obtained for a route. Holds will be scored 1-30b.
The 8 best girls and 8 boys from categories B, A advance to the finals.
Bouldering :::
There will be 4 bonus boulders. After climbing and holding the TOP hold with two hands, the competitor receives a prize. The number of attempts is unlimited, but the prize for a boulder can only be won once.
Speed :::
There is 1 route to climb, which is timed. The first three in each category will win prizes.
Referees, Chief Referee and Protests :::
The number of points for each trip is recorded by the breaker. The main judge is responsible for the results. It is possible to file a protest against the decision of the main judge. The cost of filing a protest is 30€, if the protest is not recognized, the amount is forfeited to the organizer.
