Eight months of league with elements of training with Juraj Repčík
Starting in September, we have prepared a slightly improved climbing league for you. Over the course of eight months, we will work on our bodies, improve our fitness, and, I guess, move up a level and a half in terms of performance.
Juraj Repčík will prepare a climbing league every two months to focus on a certain aspect of the training process. We will focus on volume, strength, explosiveness, and ultimately performance.
Volume
During the first two months we will try to find as many meters as possible. Quantity is the only quality hard foundation for further training. We will try to gain endurance and of course we will also exercise.
Strength
We'll reduce the volume and add weight. We'll add harder paths and wheels. We'll learn various training tricks to improve leg work in overhang and you can see that it can be done even without legs. And so I don't forget, we'll also add some leftovers and campus 😉
Explosiveness
You need to carve something out of brute strength... Special exercises to improve explosiveness, jumps, one-armed climbing, campus, technique training and again push-ups, if you love them so much. If, after the explosiveness is over, lumps appear under the layer of fat on your arms or back, don't go to the doctor with it, it could be MUSCLES.
Performances
6 months of training should have a positive effect on your climbing performance. And if your reminder doesn't say something like: "10:30 sprays, 11:00 electrotherapy", your body has successfully undergone tuning. The cylinders are drilled, the turbo is working at full speed, kerosene is flowing through your veins... It's time to move from 3+ to 4-, or not.
